Editorial Guidelines

Our readers trust us to give safe, clear and honest information about moving well after 50. These guidelines explain how we create and update every article on Limber Years.

Our standards

  • Safety first. Every routine is chosen to be gentle and suitable for beginners, with options to make moves easier, such as using a chair or a wall.
  • Plain English. We avoid jargon and explain each step so you can follow along on your own.
  • No miracle claims. We never promise cures, fast fixes or guaranteed results.
  • Researched. We base our content on trusted sources such as health organisations, published research and well known exercise guidelines, and we link to them where helpful.
  • Health notes. Articles about pain, balance, joints or health conditions include a clear reminder to check with your doctor first.

How we use AI tools

We use AI writing and image tools to help with research, outlines, first drafts and some illustrations. A person reviews, edits and fact checks every article before it is published, and is responsible for what goes live. Our writers publish under pen names. AI generated images are only used to illustrate ideas, and we do not present them as photos of real people.

Corrections and updates

We review articles regularly and update them when we find better information. If you think something is wrong, unclear or out of date, please tell us through our contact form. We look into every report and fix confirmed mistakes quickly.

Independence

Some articles contain affiliate links, and we sell our own printable plans. This never changes which exercises we recommend. Our Disclaimer explains how we earn money.
